Fax to Email

Our Fax To Email system will receive an incoming fax and save it as a PDF. That PDF will then be emailed to the nominated email address.

Please note: The fax to email service needs to be setup on a dedicated 1300 or 1800 number. Fax and voice cannot share the same number.

Setting Up

Once you add a new Fax To Email it can be allocated to a 1300 number. Currently only 1300 numbers or 1800 numbers are available to allocate as a fax service.

When creating the service you need to nominate the email address that you want the faxes to be sent to.

Using the Fax To Email

You need to have a 1300 or 1800 number setup. When you create a new fax to email service you nominate an email address for delivery and give it a name so you can recognise it in the system.

Once setup you will then simply change the profile type of the 1300 number or 1800 number to Fax To Email and select the newly created fax to email service.

Faxes will be saved as .pdf files and sent to the nominated email address.

Costs

There is no charge for using a fax to email service with a 1300 number or 1800 number. Faxes that are taken are charged at the local call rate.
